Using proposal templates

How to find, use, and create your own custom templates for jobs you do repeatedly.

Templates let you save proposal structures for jobs you do repeatedly — like a standard bathroom remodel, HVAC tune-up, or roof inspection.

Finding templates

Click "Templates" in the left sidebar. You'll see any templates you've saved, plus the option to create a new one.

Using a template

  1. 1Open a template from the Templates page.
  2. 2Click "Use Template" to start a new proposal pre-filled with that template's content.
  3. 3Update the client name, address, and any job-specific details.
  4. 4Generate or save directly.

Saving a template

After generating or editing a proposal, click the "Save as Template" button. Give the template a name (e.g., "Standard Water Heater Replacement") and save. It will appear in your Templates library.

Tip: Build a template for every job type you do more than 3 times a month. Over time, your template library becomes a massive time-saver.

Editing and deleting templates

Open any template and click "Edit" to update the content. Use the delete button to remove templates you no longer need. Deleting a template does not affect any proposals already created from it.
