Creating your first proposal in 60 seconds

BidCraft is designed to get a professional proposal in your client's hands in under 60 seconds. Here's the full flow.

Step 1: Click "New Proposal"

From anywhere in the app, click "New Proposal" in the left sidebar. This opens the proposal creation form.

Step 2: Describe the job

Type a description of the work in plain English. Think of it like a quick text message to a colleague describing what needs to be done. Include:

• What the job is (e.g., "replace water heater")
• The client's name
• The job address
• Any specific details — brands, sizes, special requirements
• Your rough price or price range (optional)

Step 3: Generate the proposal

Click "Generate Proposal". The AI reads your description and writes a full, professional proposal in 10–20 seconds. It handles the scope of work, payment terms, warranty language, and professional formatting automatically.

Step 4: Review and edit

Read through the generated proposal. If anything needs tweaking, you can edit the text directly or use the AI edit feature to refine specific sections.

Step 5: Send it

Click "Download PDF" to get a branded PDF, or click "Send to Client" to email it directly. That's it — your proposal is out the door.
