How to give the AI instructions to improve, rewrite, or adjust specific parts of your proposal.
Instead of editing proposals word-by-word, you can tell the AI what you want changed in plain English. It's faster and produces more natural-sounding results.
How to use AI editing
1Open a proposal.
2Click "Edit with AI".
3Type your instruction in the text box.
4Click "Apply" — the AI rewrites the proposal according to your instruction.
5Review the result. If you don't like it, click "Undo" and try a different instruction.
Example instructions that work well
"Make the payment terms 40% upfront and 60% on completion"
"Add a 2-year warranty on labor"
"Make the scope of work section more detailed"
"Remove the section about permits"
"Make the tone more formal"
"Shorten the proposal — remove anything redundant"
"Add a note that price is valid for 30 days"
"Change the start date to May 15th"
Tip: Be specific. "Make it better" is vague. "Add a bullet point listing all the materials included" gives the AI something to act on.
What AI editing can't do
AI editing rewrites text — it can't change your price numbers, company profile info, or add photos. Use the manual editor or dedicated sections for those.
