The client portal

What clients see when they receive your proposal, how they can accept or decline, and what you can track.

When you send a proposal, your client gets access to a clean, branded online portal where they can review and respond. No app download or account required.

The client experience

Clients see a professional, mobile-optimized page with:

  • Your company name and logo at the top
  • The full proposal — scope, pricing, terms
  • Any photos you attached
  • A clear "Accept" button and a "Decline" button

How clients accept

When a client clicks "Accept", they type their name as a digital signature. The acceptance is recorded with a timestamp and their IP address. You receive a notification immediately.

What happens when a client declines

If a client clicks "Decline", the proposal status updates to "Declined" and you're notified. You can follow up, revise the proposal, and send a new version.

Tip: A declined proposal is not the end — it's a signal to follow up. Ask what concerned them and whether a revised proposal would help.

Client links don't expire. However, if you make changes to the proposal after sending, you may want to send the client a new link or notify them of the update.
