Proposal view analytics

Understanding when and how often clients view your proposals.

BidCraft tracks every time a client opens your proposal, so you always know when to follow up and when to give them space.

What gets tracked

  • First view — when the client first opened the proposal
  • Last view — the most recent time they viewed it
  • Number of views — how many times they've opened it

Where to see analytics

Open any proposal and look for the "Views" section. You'll see the view count and timestamps. The Analytics page in the sidebar shows a broader view of engagement across all proposals.

How to use this information

  • Not opened after 2 days? Follow up — they may not have received it.
  • Opened 3+ times? They're seriously considering it. Good time to check in.
  • Opened once and declined? They reviewed it. Ask why.
  • Opened multiple times over several days? They're comparing options — reinforce your value.

Tip: Reach out within an hour of the client's first view. Your proposal is literally on their screen — timing a call in that window dramatically increases close rates.
