Requesting reviews after a job

How to use BidCraft's review request system to collect Google and online reviews.

After a job is complete, the best time to ask for a review is immediately — when the client is happy and the work is fresh in their mind.

Sending a review request

  1. 1Open the completed proposal.
  2. 2Click "Request Review".
  3. 3Enter the client's email (pre-filled if on file).
  4. 4Add an optional personal note.
  5. 5Click "Send".

BidCraft sends a friendly email on your behalf asking the client to leave a review. The email includes your company name and a direct link to your review page.

In Settings, add your Google Business review link (or any other review platform). BidCraft will include this link in all review request emails. If you haven't set it up, clients will be directed to a general review page.

Tip: Reviews are one of the highest-ROI activities for a contractor. One 5-star review can win you dozens of future jobs. Make requesting reviews a habit after every completed job.

Best time to ask

Send the request the same day you complete the job. Response rates drop significantly after 48 hours. Pair it with a final invoice or a "job complete" text message for best results.
